When the client engaged with us they wanted a very simple low-fi character animated video, but after an initial meeting it was felt that this approach would not carry the gravity of the history it was to portray and therefore not do it justice! As a result of this sentiment and in collaboration with We Are Believe (a northern-based creative agency) a proof of concept was designed and produced to reflect the periods of the time.
We also went to lengths to honor Mary Seacole by creating a 3d scan of a small-scale replica of her statue which was the original working reference of the statue that now stands in the grounds of St Thomas' Hospital, Lambeth, London, Sculpted by Martin Jennings.
Upon completion, the client was very happy with the final result.
